EVERETT MAJOR
is a music technologist and musician based in the KCMO area, striving to integrate technology into all aspects of music creation. Through is time at the University of Central Missouri, he has gained expertise both in studio and live sound applications. As a percussionist, pianist, and audio engineer, he explores the intersection of acoustic and digital sound using platforms like Max, Arduino, Ableton, & Norns to create unique hybrid instruments and performances.
ACCOLADES
His original compositions have been featured at prominent experimental music conferences, including performances of Ephemera and Metanoia at the MOXsonic Experimental Sonic Arts Festival, and Treetone at the Synth Solidarity benefit concert. Beyond composing, Everett brings his technical expertise to the recording studio, where he has engineered and mixed large-scale sessions for ensembles like the UCM Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble.

Through his ambient music project anthro., Everett combines his personal meditation practice with generative music techniques to create calming soundscapes.
These pieces serve as both standalone ambient works and as accompaniment for meditation, offering listeners a versatile sonic environment that adapts to their needs, whether for focused meditation sessions or as peaceful background music.
